Meet Whitney

Creativity and beauty have always been at the center of my world.

Long before WV STUDIO, I built my first business, Bisous Beauty Bar, around my love of hair, makeup, and helping people feel beautiful. As a hair and makeup artist, I’ve spent years working with faces, studying color, shape, light, and all of the tiny details that make each person uniquely themselves.

But my love of beauty has never been limited to what we see on the outside.

I’m drawn to the beauty in people, relationships, connection, and the moments we wish we could hold onto. The way a child looks at their mother. The expression you know by heart on someone you love. The personality of a pet who is very much a member of the family. The photographs buried in our camera rolls that somehow mean more to us with every passing year.

WV STUDIO grew from that place.

When I paint, my goal isn’t simply to reproduce a photograph. I want to interpret the feeling within it, using color, texture, and expressive brushwork to create something that feels alive and personal.

Each portrait is painted by hand on canvas and created as a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Something beautiful for your home today, but also something meaningful enough to keep for years to come.

For me, beauty has always been about more than appearance. Whether I’m holding a makeup brush or a paintbrush, I’m interested in the same thing:

seeing what is already beautiful and bringing it forward.
